Lithology and Thickness

A detrital unit constituted by four formations in Niger named, from bottom to top: Hasawnah Fm, Ash Shabiyat Fm, Hawaz Fm, and Chirfa Fm. All these formations are detrital and bounded by unconformities of different nature in Niger. In Libya, the boundary between the Ash Shabiyat Fm and Hawaz Fm is a non-erosive concordant surface.
